     Iim's Theory for Techies

In Boston at MIT Campus Museum there is a display of holographic photography of a frontal view of an individual's head that is at least twice the visual resolution of any other holgram which I have ever seen.

The hologram was dated 1991 by Yuri Denisyuk's Group in St. Petersburg, Russia using what they describe as a frequency doubling YAG pulsed laser resulting in a green beam

The resulting hologram in addition to visual resolution has a skin tone color shading so absolutely life-like that the first thing that came into mind is why on earth hasn't someone made a commercial endeavor out of it?

One reason may be that the cost of the individual frequency doubling pulsed lasers are abit expensive.

It occured to me that if some smart MIT student were to take similar holgrams of both the back of the head as well as the front of the head; each onto flat plates, and mount the two plates on a revolving base with gearing so as to simultaneously half rotate the mechanism; rocking the flat plates from side to side so as to have the plates meet up to each others matched holograthic ends; while at the same time independently adjusting the speed of a full rotational base, (ie: sort of like a spinning turntable under the whole  of the gizmo).

At some point of rotational speed the minds eye might well start to see a very real 3D representation of the holographic photo images under a heavy spot lighting (from without or within if projected via' mounted flat LED screens).

The same principle as motion picture production only you move the two frames at just the right speed and let the hologram itself represent all the film while one's mind does the rest.

Coupled with synchronization of a computers vocal synthesizer and mulitple holographs so at to capture facial and vocal motion.

As the YAG pulsed laser hologram photograph is there to see at the MIT Museum projected upon a flat plate, but, from side to side you can easily see half way back on each side of the head.

Think of Grandma or Grandpa's holographic image resting in an appliance upon a Kitchen's Island greeting you with the news of the day animated and fed in via' computer hookup; or, perhaps that of a family patriarch or of you yourself; for posterity!
