Designer Fats

 Before theorizing in FATS a little general background explaination is required.

Fats are broadly catagorized into:

 

(1)   Monounsaturated fatty acids; the Olive Oils.

Designated by the number of Carbon and Hydrogen bonds as C18:1 n9

(2) Polyunsaturated fatty acids; Corn, Sunflower, Rapeseed, and the Fish Oils.

Each having there own Carbon and Hydrogen bonding designations:

Corn and Sunflower: C18:2 n6

Rapseed from which Canola oil is made: C18:3 n3

And; two variants of the oils found in Fish Oils:

Eicosapentaenoic Acids: C20:5 n3

Docosahexaenoic Acids: C22:6 n3

(3) Stearic fatty acids; found in the Animal Fats and Oils:

Designated by the number of Carbon and Hydrogen bonds as C18: 0

Simply put:

The "C" representing the CARBON ATOMS.

The second number following (:) representing the NUMBER OF DOUBLE BONDS OF HYDROGEN.

And, the Last Number following (n) representing the NUMBER OF CARBON ATOMS FROM THE CARBON CHAINS VERY END ONTO WHICH THE FIRST HYDROGEN BOND OCCURS.

 

That, being enough explanation to take the fog off Jim's Theory on Designer Fats.


The primary source of the fatty acids by insects are from the lower end of the Number 18:3 n6 long chain Polyunsaturated fatty acids of Carbon within a class of the vegetable fats.

 

Humans physiologically can eat a diet exclusively of the same C 18:3 n6 long chain Polyunsaturated fatty acids of Carbon and their system will synthesize C24 and C26 long chain Polyunsaturated fatty acids of Carbon, which humans need for survival.

 

We also know that the cold blooded insects have the abilities of synthesize in some very peculiar ways. For example: The cockroach (Dictyoptera) synthesizing its own vitamin C.

 

Insects as a group are all classified to the Phylum Arthropoda. With one Class of Phyum the Crustacea which not only include non-bug-like lobsters and shrimp, but curiously also the Sowbugs and Pillbugs found generally under backyard garden stones.

 

There are no less then 30 different types of Insect Plasmas. For example: Among the many is a bug called Hors Bot Fly (Gastrophilus) which even has red plasma containing Hemoglobin.

 

Insects are all categorized under one single Phylum; however, categorized on Plasma types hey start to look different.

 

Insects therefore should all be reclassified based on their Plasma types; and, as to whether they too synthesize the Fatty Acids.

 

There might be discovered Insects that are capable of synthesizing long chained Polyunsaturated vegetable fats into chains of C20:5 n3 or C22:6 n3 fatty acids similar to  Fish.

 

There might be discovered that some of the bloodsucking and scavenger insects such as the beetles, flies, cockroaches, or ants; when they eat C18:0 long chain Saturated fatty acids of Carbon or consume the long chain Polyunsaturated fatty acids of Carbon of C24 and C26 from their hosts, than synthesize a lower numbered long chain bond of Carbon. For example: The synthesizing lower C18:3 n6 or C18:2 n3 range of vegetable fats; shortening up the long chain Polyunsaturated fatty acids of Carbon while retaining many more double bonds of Carbon Atoms.

 

Such a C18:5 n3 long chain Polyunsaturated fatty acid of Carbon if insect synthesized  would look something like this: ( _ _=_ _=_ _=_ _=_ _=_ _ _ )

 

Reductional synthesizing in Insects would provide a lot of energy and would also be found to be a primary source of locating enzymes involved for use in the reduction of Human synthesized C24 and C26 long chain Polyunsaturaterd fatty acids of Carbon which build up in the systems of impaired aged, and the genetically afflicted.

 

An Insect synthesizing a C18:5 n3 long chain Polyunsaturated fatty acid of Carbon creating a smaller overall package with abilities preventing freezing found to provide the enzymes to be used in lowering C24 and C26 long chain Polyunsaturated fats in Humans.

 

In search, looking for Insects with the ability to survive freezing in Winter; searching out Insects surviving evening freezing in the world's deserts. The many Carbon double bonds of long chain Polyunsaturated fatty acids involved in preventing freezing in Fish via  C20:5 n3 and C22:6 n3 bonding which keeps the cold blooded Fish from freezing.

 

In the Old Testament of the Bible, Moses sent the Israelites out to gather up 'Manna from Heaven' each dawn from the desert floor as a 'Gift of God'.

 

Today it is pretty generally agreed that the 'Manna' was some sort of Insect following the roaming herds of the wondering Israelites.

 

Theoretically, there is an Insect capable of converting the Saturated fats of livestock and the C24 and C26 synthesized fats of the Human population into long chained energy packed C20:5 n3, C22:6 n3, C18:3 n6, C18:2 n3, or, a C18:5 n3.

 

Moses it is told lived a very long time.

 

The Insect enzyme capable of reformulating long chain fatty acids for use in Human populations would be discovered to be something of a Fountain of Youth for humanity and a link to the Biblical Old Testament Story of Moses.
